I just realized something today. Dualscar’s clothes are cut to mimic an imperial drone’s silhouette. To a human, he looks a little goofy with that spiky collar.

To a troll, it’s probably pants-shitting terrifying.

Kitty: there are very particular ones that are named for specific generals, and only ever used for those generals

Kitty: Sollux just turns up the volume on his music and drives/reads/plays a video game
Kitty: Feferi *wants* to watch Eridan and Aradia recreate battles with plastic toys, but it just BORES HER TO TEARS

Starry: this is usually when Feferi sits in the passenger seat while Sollux drives and chats at him

Kitty: basically, though, one man with a gatling gun could kill as fast as like.. 10-20 men without
Kitty: so.. by backwards logic, it saves lives?

Starry: so, Eridan and Feferi have a really hard time adjusting to the limited amount of space they have for their crap in the Winnebago
Kitty: yes
Starry: Feferi packs way too many clothes at the start, but they’re all summer clothes
Kitty: Eridan has BOOKS
Starry: yes
Starry: and they keep buying things. Sollux thinks it’s a compulsion
Starry: eventually what they work out is when they start running out of room, they just box up all the stuff they’re bored with and mail it home
Starry: Feferi ends up replacing her entire wardrobe over the course of the trip
Starry: and she insists on taking Aradia clothes shopping and buying her things too
Kitty: yes
Starry: even though Aradia has packed enough clothes to last between laundry cycles and is quite content with them
Kitty: Sollux finally tells Eridan to get an e-reader after Eridan finished all his books and SHIPS them home and buys a new batch
Starry: yes
Starry: Sollux meanwhile has a handful of t-shirts, a pair of shorts, -maybe- two pairs of jeans, and a jacket
Starry: the fishtrolls offer to buy him a coat in the winter
Starry: he refuses
Kitty: yes
Kitty: he wears a hoodie

Starry: they buy him a coat anyway
Starry: he’s effectively immune to the cold, but he wears it sometimes anyway just to be nice
